Immerse yourself in an enchanting afternoon of music and merriment at our beloved bandstand.

Join the festive celebration with carol singing by local schools and churches from 2:00 pm onwards, filling the air with holiday joy. Santa’s grotto, refreshments, and more await, creating a magical atmosphere for all.

Additionally, we’ll be leading a walking nativity journey through the local area, commencing at St Anne’s Church on Harrowby Road at 2:00 pm and concluding in the park at around 3:00 pm.

Let the spirit of the season surround you as we unite for a heartwarming experience, spreading cheer throughout the park.

Experience a one-on-one visit with Santa by purchasing tickets at just £1. Grab yours from our stall at the Grantham Christmas Fayre & Festive Lights Switch On on 3rd December or buy them at the event (subject to availability).

Gingerbread Man Race – Sunday 21 April 2024 – 2.00pm-5.00pm

The Gingerbread Man Race is a heartwarming celebration that intertwines fitness, fun, and community spirit. This event is not just about racing – it’s about stepping into the pages of a beloved childhood story. As the Gingerbread Man once famously proclaimed, “You can’t catch me, I’m the gingerbread man!” – and now, children have the chance to embrace the whimsy and excitement of that story.

Starting and concluding at the iconic bandstand, participants embody the Gingerbread Man, maneuvering through a well-designed course to evade the cunning “fox”.

The event also serves as a platform for community engagement, featuring local sports clubs promoting their various activities. More than just a race, it encapsulates the essence of community, creating joyful memories and promoting an active, healthy lifestyle.

And guess what? There’s a Fun Dog Show! Furry friends doing their thing, owners laughing together – it’s a cute overload.
