Gingerbread Man Race – Sunday 21 April 2024 – 1.30pm-4.30pm

Would you like to be part of an exciting event at Dysart Park on Sunday afternoon, 21st April 2024?

Back by popular demand, we are re-launching our Gingerbread Man Race event to link with the rich history of our town.

We are delighted to be partnering with Inspire+, an active sports and education charity dedicated to positively impact young people’s lives.

Our main event is a series of races around the park for toddlers and parents, children from Year 1 to Year 6, Year 7+ and adult races. We are also introducing fancy dress and dog-with-owner races this year.

Run, run, as fast as you can!
You can’t catch me, I’m the Gingerbread Man!

All races will feature our resident ‘fox’ chasing the runners around the race course – linking with the classic Gingerbread Man story.

We will also have vintage fairground rides, children’s activities, food stalls and general stalls at the event.
